I met Breauna, a future Graduate of 2020 last year during my Holiday Equine Mini Sessions with her horse. When I found out, that her Grandpa drove Breauna and her horse Blaze 4!! hours to my 30 min shoot, I was in utter shock and disbelief. Then I told her, whenever you need your Senior Pictures done, I will come to YOU and do the drive.

Well, two weeks ago, I drove up to her family farm and got some amazing images! She was so nice and took me on a hilly ATV ride around the entire ranch while I checked out locations for pictures.

First, we started off with some solo portrait head shoots of her:

Breauna LOVES riding and showing her horses, and is actively involved with FFA, an American 501 youth organization, that promote and support agricultural education. Currently she is at the County Fair to show off her steer.

Therefore, we incorporated her personalized FFA outfit into the shoot:

The remaining time we had left before sunset, we focused on some equine photos and her dog:

Breauna grew up here, at this beautiful secluded family ranch and loves the simple country life. Not only does she love riding horses but also enjoys a fast ride on her ATV. So, I had an idea! I told Breauna to speed up and come towards me as fast as she could to create some dust for the picture. I think, that was her favorite part of the entire session :)! So here are some ATV pics:

After the ATV action shots, I wanted to do one more thing. Her ranch has some beautiful overlooks and I wanted to go up on a hill and take some wide angle images with her looking down. As time was of the essence due to lighting, I quickly changed out my 70-200 lens to a wide angle lens and Breauna drove us on her ATV up to the top of the hill right behind her house:

I really thought she would like these pictures as she can look back, years from now and remember her family home. They are also currently building a new horse barn, as you can see in the background.

Overall, I created over 100 images during this Senior Photo Shoot! The entire time, her Mom Tonya and her Grandpa Steven were right next to us and assisted me with whatever was needed. That was truly a wonderful shoot and I loved getting to know this family even more.
